We are looking for a self-driven property manager for our folk high school. The role is broad, focusing on the development of the properties at our school, with responsibility for budget, operational optimization, and maintenance.

You will work closely with the operations and school management to prepare well-founded decisions based on upcoming major investments.

The position entails significant personal responsibility and requires experience, as the role will be partially new at our school.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation, supervision, and maintenance of the school's properties and outdoor environments
• Budget responsibility as well as financial monitoring and cost control
• Development of the school's properties and operations
• Ordering and monitoring of contractors and service agreements
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines in the property area
• Administration and work in digital systems
• Practical work with property maintenance
• Supervision of some employees

Qualifications – Required

• Experience in property management or property administration
• Ability to work independently with overall responsibility
• Experience in budget work and financial monitoring
• Good ability to work independently in digital systems
• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• Driving license B (manual transmission)

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in property, construction, or technology
• Experience from schools, public or non-profit organizations
• Experience in supervising or coordinating staff
• Knowledge of SBA, energy, or technical systems
• Knowledge of key performance indicator management and lifecycle perspective
• Experience in folk high school

Karlskoga Folk High School is a movement folk high school with Equmeniakyrkan and the youth organization Equmenia as the main sponsors. During a school year, we meet around 350 students in a wide range of courses. Our school offers opportunities for boarding.
